As the lead pastor, Josh Fenska preaches regularly, leads the team of elders, and cares for church members.
Josh and his wife Katie were married in 2005. They live with their 4 young kids in Oswego. Josh says that the summer is his favorite season, because of the opportunities it provides for grilling, following Major League Baseball, and hanging out with his family and neighbors outside.
He first visited this church shortly after it had been planted, when he was a freshman at Wheaton College. He completed B.A. (2002) and an M.A. (2004) at Wheaton College, and later went to the Sovereign Grace Pastors College from 2005-2006. He has served as a pastor here since 2006, and as the lead pastor since 2011.
In addition to caring for church members and other pastoral responsibilities, Josh Anderson focuses on leading initiatives for the outward mission of the church, and provides direction for our student ministries.
After graduating from Wheaton College in 2003, Josh taught middle and high school students with disabilities in both private and public school settings, where he also coached football.
Josh met his wife Kimberly at Wheaton College, and they have been married since 2003. Josh and Kimberly have 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. The Andersons have been members of this church since 2006, when the Lord led them to the church where their "hearts came home." They attended the Sovereign Grace Pastors College in 2011-2012, and have happily returned to serve in the church they love, with Josh joining the church staff full time in July of 2013.
