2Corinthians 5:15 says:  and He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised.  

This is the aim of our youth ministry:  Coming alongside parents as they raise up their kids to live for Jesus. Discipleship of children happens best when parents take the lead and the church comes alongside them to support and equip them for this great work.  Here is what that will look like this year:

High School Bible Study

Middle School Donuts & Doctrine
who: 6th-8th graders and their parents
what: eating donuts, studying doctrine
when: 2nd Sundays, 8:30-9:30a
where: Plank Jr. High

Youth and Parents Nights
who: 6th-12th graders and their parents
what: singing, teaching from God’s Word
when: November 16 and April 19

World Relief After School Club
who: 6th-12th graders
what: building relationships with international friends
when: Tuesdays, 3-5p
where: Village Bible Church, Aurora (1401 W Galena Blvd. Aurora, IL 60506)

when: January 13-14 and June 5-8
where: Grace Community Church of Yorkville and Dickson Valley Camp

In the Word Together
We encourage all youth to participate in reading through the Psalms this year.  Here is the suggested reading plan:

September: Psalms 1-18
October: Psalms 19-41
November: Psalms 42-72
December: Psalms 73-89
January: Psalms 90-119
February: Psalms 120-150
March-August: tbd
