Today is Good Friday—the day we remember the crucifixion of our Lord. We hope this day finds you with some time to sit at the foot of the cross and reflect on the death of Christ and its significance for you.
We look forward to doing that “together” tonight in our service at 7:00. After our service, we also want to point you to a recording of a Tenebrae service featuring Andrew Peterson at Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee. This will be about an hour-long service including readings, the music of Andrew Peterson’s Resurrection Letters, and a short homily. The recording will be available at that church’s website and on their YouTube channel after our service is finished.
Whatever resources you use throughout the day, may your heart be encouraged as you ponder the good news of Good Friday – “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
