We are excited to announce that we will have a grade school children’s choir participating in the Sunday Meeting on December 17th at 10:00 am. We are thrilled that Nat & Hanna McRostie have agreed to lead the kids in preparations. Participation is not required. However, if you would like your child to be involved, they will be rehearsing in the 2nd-3rd grade room during our regular worship time (10:00 am) beginning this Sunday (Nov. 5) and continuing until the performance date with the only exception being November 26th. After rehearsal, kids will go to their regular children’s ministry classes where you can pick them up after service.
To make sure the kids will be prepared, Nat and Hanna would also like to invite them to an extra rehearsal on December 16th from 9:30-10:45 am at their home (1262 Spring St. Yorkville, IL, 60560). Again, this is not required, but will be helpful if you are able to make it.
Nat and Hanna have done an amazing job of choosing songs that tell the story of the birth of Jesus – from hopeful anticipation to rejoicing at His birth! It’s going to be great! Please use the links below to check them out with your children when you have the chance.
Also, there are opportunities for several small solos or small group parts. If your child would be interested, please let Nat or Hanna know when you drop them off at rehearsal by 10:00 am next Sunday. Please make sure you check them in at the CM table first.
We look forward to sharing in worshiping our Savior with your children in the coming weeks. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Grace to you, Aleece
