Paul explained his ministry like this: “I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:25-26).
At Redeemer, we cherish this goal of “progress and joy in the faith.”
For those seeking to take first steps of getting involved, participating in our 4-week Starting Point Course and getting plugged into a small group is the best place to begin. But over time, in order to avoid getting stuck in plateaus of discipleship, we encourage members to participate in our Redeemer Discipleship Courses — courses designed for your “progress and joy in the faith.”
We typically launch Redeemer Discipleship Courses several times per year — covering a variety of fresh topics from 3 categories:
- Gospel Truth
- Gospel in Everyday Life
- Gospel Ministry & Mission
In 2017, we had Redeemer Discipleship Courses related to Biblical parenting, first five years of marriage, and evangelism.
In the Winter/Spring of 2018, we plan to begin two discipleship courses:
- Financial Stewardship (using materials from Financial Peace University)
- Systematic Theology Part 1 (covering topics such as the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, and the Attributes of God)
