Beginning Feb 1, we will be offering an inductive Bible study for girls and women, ages 13-99! Laura VanHuis will be teaching through the book of 1 Peter, using Jen Wilkin’s study of this book. Weekly meetings will consist of 45 minutes of small group time, followed by 45 minutes of large group teaching. There will be approximately five hours of homework each week.
This is an 11-week study that will meet from February 1 through April 19. There will be no class on March 29.
The study is being offered from 9-11am on Tuesday mornings at Advent and from 7-9pm on Tuesday evenings at Laura’s home in Aurora. The content at both meetings will be identical, so you can choose which time works best for you. Childcare is available for the morning group.
There is a Zoom option for the evening class for those who are remaining home out of caution. Weekly homework, small group participation, and a large group lecture are included in both the live and Zoom contexts.
Redeemer will provide the study guide for those who register by January 26.
