Josh’s top interests are (predictably) spending time with his family, and coaching his kids’ sports teams. Two other honorable mentions are Josh’s passion for adoption and issues related to racial diversity and harmony. Josh attended Wheaton College and received a BA in history and philosophy, and an MA in the history of Christianity. He currently serves on the steering committee for the Chicago chapter of The Gospel Coalition. These may be some of the specifics of his life, but his overarching desire is to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel to the glory of God.
Josh has attended this church since he was a college student in ’98, and has served as a pastor since ’05, and as the lead pastor since ’11. Josh married Katie in ’05 and they now have five children ages 11 to baby (the younger two via adoption).
