Pregnancy Information Center

Pregnancy Information Center

PIC (Pregnancy Information Center) is a resource center dedicated to helping women with unplanned pregnancies. This ministry is able to provide medical services such as pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and other treatments for families in need.  They also have an Education Center that provides classes on parenting, Bible study, and life skills.  In addition, they offer counseling for women walking through post abortion.
Commitment levels:
 – Class Teachers (classes run in 5 week sessions at 1 hour per week).  At this time, their classes run on Thursday evenings.  They run a Bible study from 6-7pm & the class time is from 7-8pm.  They provide the curriculum for the classes.
 – Mural Needed – They are looking for someone to design & paint a mural in the classroom
 – Baby Store Organizers – The time commitment can be what the volunteer wants it to be.  Contact Angela when you would like to help sort donated baby items for their Baby Boutique Store.
 – Men’s Group Teacher – They would love to provide a class specifically for dads.  This isn’t always a need, but it would be the same teacher involvement as listed above, but specifically for dads – as the need arises.
The PIC’s director, Angela, is very open to offering other services/ministries to the families that come through.  If you feel gifted/led to serve in a certain way, she would love to plug you in.  Additionally, if the church is having any kind of event, the PIC would love to offer that to their families.
