Tom doesn’t play games – literally; he would rather talk with people, finding out what makes them unique. This others-focused trait has come by grace and through difficulty, but it makes him a good candidate for his position as an elder. Tom married his most significant other, Linnea, in 1987 and still considers their conversations to be most enjoyable. They have three daughters in their 20’s; Karen, Holly, and Julie.
