Hey men, mark your calendars and plan to join us on Saturday, November 4, from 8:30-2:00 for an awesome day growing together as followers of the Lord Jesus!
When planning for this ministry year, the elders thought it would be beneficial to focus on “loving one another” and improving our ministry to each other. For men, this is extremely important; because of a combination of our predispositions as men and the cultural norms for men in our society, we sometimes struggle to care for one another well. So we want to spend a day learning from God’s Word, spending time in prayer, worshipping in song, and communicating with one another about how to become better at “one another-ing.”
Oh yeah, and there will be food. Did we mention the chili cook-off? You can start loving your brothers well by bringing your best chili! Nothing like a competitive lunch to make the day even better.
