On Wednesday, March 9, we will have the unique opportunity to hear from missionaries Andy and Jenny Smith at the 5:15 youth meeting. The whole church is invited to attend this special evening.
Andy and Jenny and their six children have ministered in Indonesia for eight years and currently serve in a rural Papuan village among the Asmat people group. Their work includes building friendships, translating the Bible, and partnering with Indonesian Christians for the sake of developing mature Christian faith.
Their village is in a river/tidal swamp area, and their life there includes the things missionary biographies are made of – travel by boat, a home on stilts, and some of the world’s most venomous snakes. Plan to come and get to know this dear family and learn more about their life and ministry. We will sing together, hear from the Smiths, have the opportunity to ask questions, and spend some time praying for them.
